The Best Inspirational Bible Verses to Get Us Back on Track

In times of trial and tribulation, we could all use a little ‘push’ to get us headed in the right direction. Whether you’re dealing with a work conflict, relationship issue or loss, the Bible can help lift us up. The word of God can get us back on our path and help us reach new heights. Let’s dive into our best inspirational Bible verses accompanied by a translation for each.

Inspirational Bible Verses

Psalm 31:24 – “Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord”

Psalm 31:24 takes the top spot on our list. The reason being is that within the book of Psalms we take focus on our worship.

Whenever we our struggling, it’s a good first step to remember to stay true to our faith.

Life can have many distractions. We must stay grounded and give thanks to our creator on the first step to recovery.

John 15:13 – “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends”

This verse resonates to the premise in which we must not focus on ourselves. When looking for additional inspiration, an easy starting point is to direct our energy toward helping others.

In our Daily Proverbs devotional, we often mention the theme of supporting family and friends, more than oneself.

By focusing our energy on external forces, we can begin to ‘fill our cup’ with God’s message.

Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight”

Speaking of Proverbs, this is one of our favorites. In times of stress or when we lack motivation, it’s easy to question God’s plan.

Proverbs 3:5-6 is a swift reminder to stay trusting and submit what we cannot control to the Lord.

Sometimes when we have too much time to ruminate with our thoughts, we lose sight of all of our blessings.

Begin with centering yourself around God’s plan. Refocus your trust on Him, even in the darkest of days.

Psalm 3:3 – “But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high”

Psalm 3:3 is one of the simplest verses in the Bible. It’s also one of the most motivational when we let it sink in.

We must not forget that it’s God, who lifts our heads up high. He shows us the beauty that life can bring.

While many philosophers say that life is suffering, we believe it’s more about finding strength in hard times.

When lacking inspiration, we are not able to be our best selves.

God’s shield around us will make us radiate with bright and positive energy. He will lift our heads high and show us the right path forward.

Matthew 11:28 – “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”

Sometimes we feel the need to always be doing something. It could be going to the gym more, eating healthier foods, you name it.

But before we do too much, Matthew 11:28 reminds us that we too need rest. Before soaring to greater heights, we must be at peace with who we are.

Life is complicated enough. We don’t need to jam pack our schedules to the point of exhaustion. Instead, it helps to have a reminder from the Bible, that sometimes we need to slow down.

Enjoy this life.
