The Daily Proverbs 365: Devotional Sayings on How to Live a Better Life

This daily devotional tops our list because, hello transparency, we wrote it! But biased aside, this devotional is for those that are looking for a more modern take on Christianity and connecting to God. It guides us through each day of the year and allows us to read a proverb, which contain so much Godly wisdom, and then there’s a modern translation beneath it that helps us to apply it to our daily lives.

I’m a big fan of self-help books and this devotional perfectly bridges the gap between that and spirituality. It makes for a perfect holiday gift for someone looking to get rid of their bad habits, or it serves as a nice nightstand book to check in every morning or night to connect with God. The Daily Proverbs 365 makes checking in each day fun and easy.

Jesus Listens: Daily Devotional Prayers of Peace, Joy, and Hope

Another one of our favorites. This one is by Sarah Young. It’s perfect for those who are looking for relatable bible verses. The devotional is very easy to follow along with and it makes for a nice addition to any Christian reading set.

God’s Purpose for Your Life: 365 Devotions (Devotionals from Charles F. Stanley)

This devotional is excellent if you’re needing more guidance day to day. Charles Stanley does an incredible job making his translations easy for anyone to understand. I find the interior design of this devotional quite pleasing as well. Bonus points for a well designed book!

Quiet Times with God Devotional: 365 Daily Inspirations

One of the best book titles on this list, written by Joyce Meyer. Clever title aside, this book is perfect to read while sipping your morning cup of coffee (Dunkin’ anyone??). Start your day the right way with one of Meyer’s latest works.

Daily Guideposts 2022 Large Print: A Spirit-Lifting Devotional

Daily Guideposts is a cool amazon publisher that focuses on all things spirituality. This book is a little different than your typical Christian reading, more focused on self-help but still well worthy of cracking our 2022 list.
