Daily Bible Verse for Generosity 2022

Proverbs 11:24 “Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything.”

The wisdom of God turns the ways of our world on its head. While the world around us will teach us that being stingy with our money will lead to greater wealth, God tells us that He will bless us abundantly if we use our resources for the betterment of others. Why is this? Because God loves a generous heart, for it reflects His own. For those people, He will pour out His gifts upon them freely. The more we earn, the more we should give. The proverb isn’t saying let’s be foolish with our money, but rather to be generous and gain much more than what wealth can give us. A full heart, a peaceful mind and a generous spirit are infinitely more valuable.
