31 Dec Bible Verse for Encouragement and Strength
Today we’ll be looking at a Bible verse for encouragement and strength. We all need more encouragement. Whether it’s stress from work, a challenging family situation, or we just want to start 2023 on a strong note, let’s dive into today’s bible verse.
Bible Verse for Encouragement and Strength
Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
This verse beautifully exemplifies how when we love God, we’re on track with our purpose.
How did you find God? We each have our own stories. My journey to God came from struggling to break bad habits. I kept seeking out advice and all signs pointed to the Bible.
Once I began reading, I was hooked. Sure, I went to church growing up with my family. But I didn’t start practicing and learning more about my faith until I was older.
Sometimes, it takes a negative situation to find a positive one. In my case, once I started getting deeper with my practice, the more my life improved.
When we lack strength or encouragement, sometimes there’s no one else to turn to, but God. He will guide us. He will listen to our concerns. We may seek his forgiveness for our sins.
Romans 8:28 is a short and sweet reminder, that when we love God, we’re on the right track.
In my own experience, it’s easy to doubt myself. Like when I’ve had a bad day, sometimes my thoughts begin to spiral.
I take a moment to gather myself and then pray to God. Typically, I then feel a wave of relief wash over me.
So, when you need more strength, know that I’m praying with you and that God is watching over us. It may feel difficult now, but our trials will better prepare us for life’s many challenges.
