Best Bible Verse for Gratitude 2022

I was just writing a post about needing more patience and it struck me. Instead of being more patient (which I need too), I should be more grateful for all the blessings in my life. Here is the best Bible verse for gratitude.

Best Bible Verse for Gratitude

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

It’s so refreshing to read that Bible verse and know that I’m not alone.

Even with friends, family and partners, life can feel so lonely.

It’s easy to get impatient and desire more than we need in life to try and fill the void within us.

I have some bad news, that void cannot be filled in that way.

Instead, it must be filled with God!

Rejoice.

For the void can be filled and our purpose can be simply defined.

Our life’s purpose can be to spread God’s wisdom and keep seeking more knowledge of His teachings.

Whenever I’m having a bad day, picking up the Bible always helps.

It’s replaced my old form of talk therapy. Instead, I relax and read the Bible.

I always find a verse or passage that speaks to me.
