Best Bible Verse For Forgiveness

Proverbs 17:9 “Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.”

Forgiveness is at the heart of our faith. Jesus brought us forgiveness through His sacrifice on the cross, and we are called to practice it as well. When we do, we become more like Jesus and fulfill the will of God for our lives. Not forgiving destroys relationships and pulls us further away from God. Think of a time someone has wronged you. Do you wish the relationship or friendship could have been saved? Maybe it was an honest mistake, we all make those. Start by forgiving something small and see how you feel. The more we practice forgiveness, the easier it gets over time.

Forgiving loved ones can be difficult. On one hand, we want to be “right.” As a result, it can create never ending conflicts.

Instead, if we take the higher road and learn to forgive without expecting anything in return, God will be happy with us.

Throughout the journey of life, there’s going to be conflict.

The more we practice forgiveness, the more equipped we’ll be to handle the up’s and down’s of life.
